| Part
1: Creating a torrent using G3 |
 |
| 1.
Click on the File menu at the top of the window. Select Create
New
Torrent. |
| |
 |
| 2.
In the box under Announce URL, put in the URL of the tracker you
are using. In this case I've used the Mongo56 tracker in the
example. Assuming we are uploading a folder containing an album,
click on Add Folder. |
| |
 |
| 3.
Browse for the directory you want to share. Click on it, then click
OK. |
| |
 |
| 4. Click Next. A Creating Torrent window will pop
up. It will then ask you to browse for the folder you want to share.
This is an almost identical step to the one above (#3). |
| |
 |
| 5.
Browse for the directory you have torrented to share. Click on it, then click
OK. |
| |
 |
| 6. If you've done everything correctly your torrent should load
in the main window, show your status as Seeding and
percentage at 100%. If not, you've done something wrong along
the way. Go back to the beginning and try again. |

2: How to seed/reseed in G3 |
 |
| 1.
Click on the File menu at the top of the window. Select Add
Torrent (No default save). |
| |
 |
| 2. Find the torrent file you want to seed/reseed. Click on it
and choose Open. |
| |
 |
| 3. Browse for the folder that has the downloaded/created
torrent. Click on it and choose OK. |
| |
 |
| 6. If you've done everything correctly your torrent should load
in the main window, show your status as Seeding and
percentage at 100%. If not, you've done something wrong along
the way, you don't have 100% of the torrent, or you moved/changed
something since you downloaded/created it. |
