| 1. Double click the blue and green globe icon in your system
tray. If it's not running, click on Start and choose
Norton Internet Security. |

| 2. Click on Personal Firewall and the Configure. |

| 3. Click on the Advanced tab and then click on General. |

| 4. Click Add. |
| |
 |
| 5. Select Permit. Click Next. |
| |
 |
| 6. Select Connections from other computers. Click Next. |
| 7. On the next screen under What computers or sites do you want to permit?
tab, select Any computer. |

| 8. Select TCP or TCP and UDP (only if you know
what UDP is and need it selected). |
| 9. Then select Only the types of communication or ports
listed below. Click Add. |

| 9. Select Individually specified ports and type in the
port number(s) you are using (one at a time). Alternatively, select Port range
(if you are using consecutive numbers. i.e. 6881-6889)
and type in the start and end ports in the range you are using.
Click OK. |

| 10. Skip the next windows (click Next). Give your rule a
name. Mine is called Bit Torrent - Open Ports. Select File
Transfer from the list and click OK as many times as you
need to. |
