| 1. Before you start, go into Preferences > General Options. |

2. Make sure the box that says Show dialog box when adding new
torrents is checked. This means when you add a new torrent to
uTorrent a box will pop up first to make sure you saving/seeding
from the correct location (see step 5). Click OK. |

| 3. When adding a torrent for seeding use the Add Torrent (no
default save) option. |

| 4. Choose the torrent file you want to oprn. |

| 5. Now the window comes up. Check the Open for seeding
box. You should also make sure the Save As location is
correct. If you choose the actual folder the files are in you
usually end up with the wrong location (see image below) so you need
to choose the parent folder to get the correct location, otherwise
uTorrent will try to download the files instead of seeding them. |

| 6. Once your Save As location is correct you can click on
OK. If you've done everything correctly your torrent should
now be seeding. If it isn't, check to see you did Step 5 correctly. |
